03. Purposes

For these reasons I process the personal data

I only process your personal data when the law allows me to do so and for the purposes I have described below.

Requests and quotes

You can contact me without obligation to see if we are a match. In order to prepare a quote, I need all the contact details that I can later include on any invoice. Even if you ultimately do not purchase my services, I will keep the data for 8 years after the last contact moment, in order to be able to justify my work to the tax authorities. I also store the data for my own quotation management and to analyze which quotations I have offered. I will only keep the data that the Tax Authorities do not require me to keep for 30 days.

Execution of an assignment

When I carry out an assignment for you, I will process your data. I process your name and address details and e-mail address to send you information, get acquainted, make appointments, for the execution of the assignment and the final delivery of the end product. This information is necessary for the execution of the order, without this information I cannot enter into the agreement.

I will delete data that I do not need for invoicing, my portfolio, archiving or for a license when the assignment is completed. Of course, I will also delete data when requested and I do not need the data for the execution of the agreement, my legitimate interest or for my legal (administrative) obligations.

Billing

If you have given me an assignment, I will process the data necessary for the financial settlement of that assignment. In any case, this is your name and email address and other information that is necessary to send a correct invoice. When payment is made, I will also be shown which account this came from and who the account holder is. I keep invoices and payment details for 8 years to comply with my legal retention obligations.

Licenses

When I make a film for you, I make agreements with you about the use of the end result. We do this by means of a license. I process your name and address details to draw up the license. I keep the quotation and the agreements made at least for the duration of the license, in order to safeguard the agreements made and to have the opportunity to contact us regarding the license.

(Portrait) photos

During the execution of a videography assignment, portraits can be made in which you are recognizable. I also process these personal data for the execution of the agreement with my client. I will deliver the film to my client as the end product of the assignment.

I also have a legitimate interest in including your portrait in my film, namely an artistic interest and an interest in using my artistic works for my own business operations, including for promotion in my portfolio and via social media. I have made a trade-off between your privacy interests and my interests. In addition, in most cases there is processing of data that you yourself have made public.

My films are my intellectual property, I have copyright on them. I therefore keep these artistic works in my archive and portfolio. I keep the raw material made during the filming day for at least 1 year after recording, unless otherwise discussed.

Questions and other contact

If you send me a question or request information from me, I will contact you. That is why I process your name and email address, so that I can provide you with an answer and/or information. I have a legitimate interest in this. Because I would like to see again for a while who I have been in contact with, I keep this data for 5 years after our last contact moment.
